Brent K. Wamsley is the founder of Wamsley & Associates, L.C. and managing attorney. Brent's primary practice areas are Estate Planning, Personal Injuries, Worker's Compensation, and Bankruptcy.
Brent Has been practicing law in Utah for 28 years. Through his extensive experience he has built a strong reputation in the legal community with other attorneys and local judges. His care factor is very high and he always puts his clients first. The majority of the clients that come to Wamsley & Associates, L.C.have been referred to the firm due to the diligent work and client care that Brent has provided to their friends and family.
Brent earned a Bachelor's Degree from Utah State University in 1986 and a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 1989.
Outside of his legal profession, Brent enjoys helping people and giving service to the community. Brent is an avid runner and he has completed several marathons, half-marathons, and other races. He loves outdoor activities such as waterskiing and hiking. Above all he loves spending time with his wife and family.
Braden D. Wamsley is an associate attorney at Wamsley & Associates, L.C. His primary practice areas are Family Law, Personal Injuries, Worker's Compensation, and Bankruptcy/Debt Matters.
Braden has been working at Wamsley & Associates since 2011 when he was a paralegal. During his time as a paralegal he worked with several clients and gained valuable experience that cannot be taught in a classroom. Since becoming an attorney, he has helped hundreds of clients, gotten to know many of the local judges and commissioners, and built a strong reputation in the legal community.
Braden earned a Bachelor's Degree from Utah State University in 2012 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law in 2015.
Outside of his legal profession Braden enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, and being in the outdoors. He is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys attending college football games in the fall. On an average day after work, Braden can be found spending time at the park with his wife Aubree, their four children and new puppy.
Brock A Wamsley is an associate attorney at Wamsley & Associates, L.C. His primary practice areas are Family Law, Personal Injuries, Debt Matters, and Estate Planning.
Brock has worked on and off at Wamsley & Associates L.C. since 2020 when he was a paralegal. He also spent time at Olson and Hogan P.C. in Logan Utah, Memory Memory, and Causby LLP in Montgomery Alabama, the District Attorney's Office in Montgomery Alabama, the Law School Admissions at Faulkner University, the Generational and Ancestral Property Clinic, and the Elder Law Clinic located in Montgomery, Alabama.
He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Utah State University in 2021 in Economics Magna Cum Laude with a minor in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2024, Cum Laude. During law school, he took a particular interest in the trial team and was a regional semi-finalist in a national trial advocacy competition hosted by the American Association for Justice in 2023. Brock received the award for best paper (top overall paper) in Jurisprudence for his analysis on the relationship between college athletes and their Christian spirituality. He was also the sole recipient of the Deans Award awarded to one student who exemplifies the purposes and philosophy of the law school awarded at graduation.
Outside of work he enjoys playing basketball, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He thanks his wife Lauren, and their two children for supporting him in his legal career.
James C. Bagley is an associate attorney at Wamsley & Associates, L.C. and his primary areas of practice are Estate Planning, Debt Matters, and Traffic Matters.
James began working at Wamsley & Associates in 2025. Before working at Wamsley & Associates, he worked as a summer associate at Ackerman Law, PLC, a firm in Arizona. Here, he worked to assist clients on probate matters that became contested, helping to ensure their inheritance rights were enforced properly.
Being raised in Utah, James earned a Bachelor's in Political Science from Utah State University in 2021. In 2025, he graduated from Regent Law School in Virginia Beach with his Juris Doctorate.
When James is not at work, he enjoys being with his family, and likes to spend his time outside. He is an avid fisherman and also enjoys golf, and spending time in the mountains.

Janis Bagley is a secretary with over 16 years of experience, 13 of which have been in the legal field. She earned a degree from Utah State University and began working as a secretary at USU for three years.
Janis joined Wamsley & Associates, where she worked for four years before taking time away to focus on raising her family. After that rewarding chapter, she returned to Wamsley & Associates and has continued serving clients and attorneys for the past nine years.
She enjoys drafting trusts and other legal documents, assisting attorneys with their daily practice, and building positive relationships with clients.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, refinishing furniture, gardening, and traveling. Above all, her family is the most important part of her life. She has been happily married for 36 years and is the proud mother of two children and grandmother of two wonderful grandchildren. And yes, she is the mother of James Bagley.

Melissa Wamsley serves as a Legal Assistant for the attorneys at Wamsley & Associates, L.C., providing support in Family Law, Debt Matters, Personal Injury, and Estate Planning.
Melissa has been part of the Wamsley family for more than 20 years. She is married to Brent K. Wamsley’s eldest son, Dustin, a professional pilot, and together they have two wonderful children.
Prior to joining the legal field, Melissa built a successful career spanning more than 15 years in dental, surgical, and orthodontic care. Her diverse background and education has equipped her with strong skills in leadership, organization, client relations, and attention to detail. Her interests and talents extend beyond her professional experience and include academics, athletics, acting, health and fitness, film, photography, and video editing.
Melissa attended Dixie State College, where she studied Film, Broadcast Journalism, and Theater while serving as a College Ambassador. Her passion for creativity and communication continues to influence both her professional and personal endeavors.
Melissa has been married to her high school sweetheart for 20 years. Outside of work, she enjoys breeding Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles, photography and videography, running, participating in sports, tackling DIY projects, and traveling with her husband. She also loves supporting her two active children as they pursue their busy schedules filled with dance and swimming.
